Experience:
B.S. Degree in Business Administration or related field and experience commensurate with position responsibilities. MBA preferred. Position requires in depth knowledge of purchasing, production planning and scheduling, shipping, and receiving, inventory control, data processing, transportation, and warehousing. Minimum of five (5) years' experience in Purchasing, Production Planning and Scheduling, Shipping and Receiving, Inventory Control, Transportation and Warehousing or related areas required. Overall experience requirement may be adjusted with candidates holding a master's degree in Business. Must have a strong working knowledge of ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) Systems in general and SAP. Must be knowledgeable in all other manufacturing operations and management responsibilities. Reporting to the plant manager your responsibilities are:
Scheduling/Master Planning The essential functions of this position include but are not limited to:
Works closely with Global Supply Network Planners to determine customer needs during the planning periods throughout the year. Develop a Plant Master Manufacturing Schedule to meet those needs. Track performance to that schedule and adjust schedule needs to ensure back orders are managed at lowest levels. Directs the production planning and scheduling with the cooperation and coordination of all departments to achieve production goals. Responsible for management of all production order creation and release to meet production plan. This includes the building process of all Device History packets. Manages Plant capacity planning for all operations in the facility to drive decisions on future business needs to achieve projected demands. Procurement/Material Planning/Supplier Management Responsible for the purchasing of all raw materials, component parts and MRP (Material Requirement Planning) materials, obtaining adequate supply to meet manufacturing schedules. Oversees Supplier management, maintain approved supplier list and all supplier documentation/changes. Acts as a Liaison for the Shared Service Center (SSC) on Indirect buying concerns in the plant. Shipping/Receiving Oversees the Shipping and Receiving areas to assure that all raw materials and produced products are properly received, shipped, stored and cycle counted (including annual physical inventory). Responsible for the management of raw material and WIP (Work in Progress) inventories to optimize production while minimizing investment. Works closely with Corporate Transportation in managing carrier needs for the plant and the business. Sterilization Oversees sterilization operation, works to maintain safety, quality, and delivery. Manage capacity for the operation and directs and executes annual reloads to maintain capacity. Ensures all State and Federal regulations are being met to safeguard safety and security of the operation. ERP/Master Data Oversees the plants Master Data organization, preparation, and entry of data in the SAP (System Application and Product) for all production materials, spare parts, and operating supplies. Responsible for internal policies and procedures for master data to ensure proper approvals and documentation. Required Assists in the development and preparation of the annual Budget Plan as required with specific areas of input for manufacturing volumes, product mix, raw materials, and departmental expenses. Carry out all other duties as assigned within reason of request. Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
