JOB SUMMARY
Maintains the P5A Grease Dispensing equipment in good working order. Performs preventative maintenance on the P5A Grease Dispensing equipment.
Sets up, monitors and maintains the fill weights during production to meet quality standards and budgeted throughput rates.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
The essential functions of this position include but are not limited to:
1. Performs maintenance on pumps as required to maintain accurate fill weights to meet specification.
2. Changes barrels of grease as needed to maintain production.
3. Fills out required paperwork to meet Quality Assurance and GMP requirements.
4. Fills out setup sheets, self-inspection forms and ensures all records are correct, relative to P5A grease lot control information.
5. Performs and Coordinates any maintenance needed to keep the P5A Grease Dispensing equipment, producing quality product.
6. Completes all equipment repairs. Assures all Preventative Maintenance is complete.
7. Assists in the equipment maintenance and rebuilds completed during the Plant shutdown periods.
8. Keeps P5A Greasing Equipment area clean and orderly.
9. Performs other jobs when P5A Grease Dispensing operation is not running. Responsible for being fully trained on Stopper and Evacuate, Tullip, Batch Final Pack, Stopper Treatment, and Utility A jobs within twelve (12) months
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
Other responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:
1. Complies with all local, state, federal and BD safety regulations, policies/procedures.
2. Complies with all local BD quality policies/procedures/practices through consistent application of sound Quality Assurance principles.
3. Performs other job related duties as assigned.
4. Observes all safety, environmental, and quality system standards.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED
1. Education
High school diploma, technical degree preferred.
2. Experience
Minimum of 1 year proven mechanical ability required.
3. Physical Requirements
Light to Medium Heavy work: Exerting up to 60 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 42 pounds of
force frequently, and/or less than 24 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
4. Mental Requirements
Ability to read, write and understand English.
Ability to troubleshoot equipment problems and determine resolutions.
5. Equipment Use
P5A Grease Dispensing machine. Mettler scales and desk top calculator. Must be a licensed forklift
operator. Personal computer with windows software/ SAP.
6. Working Conditions
The associate is subject to inside environmental conditions: Protection from weather conditions but not
necessarily from temperature changes.
The worker is subject to hazards: Includes a variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, electrical current, working on scaffolding and high places, exposure to high heat or exposure to chemicals and broken glass.
7. Supervision
Reports directly to Department Shift Facilitator. Has no supervision over others.
