Prepares and maintains adequate inventory of additive components issued by Department 312 for the production of VACUTAINER Brand products. The additives are prepared and assayed according to the appropriate corporate specifications.
1. Highschool diploma or equivalent with courses in mathematics. Additional courses/experience in chemistry, sciences, or laboratory experience is preferred.
2. Requires an aptitude for mathematics, record keeping, inventroy control and the ability to work efficiently with supervisors and fellow employees.
3. Medium work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Must be able to distinguish color changes.
4. Ability to operate laboratory batch mixing equipment, chemistry analytical equipment, some of which are keyboard controlled, and enter and retrieve data on computer.
