Manufacturing Network Infrastructure Lead

Job Description Manufacturing NetworkInfrastructure Lead Provide support & leadership for the BD Plant IT Global Services Group around Network Engineering for manufacturing specific connectivity.  Provide consultation and support for manufacturing engineering groups. Manage vendor/partner relationships for outsourced resources related to manufacturing networks. Focus on lean and continuous improvement of network operations, aligning with BD standards for networkinfrastructure and Industrial Controls.  This area is also responsible for aligning, maintaining and developing Global IT relations with emphasis on new opportunities for innovation and growth.  Provide support as requested by leadership for all BDX sites. Globally, BDX utilizes segmented networks for manufacturing machines and data.  You will be responsible for leading and coordinating with vendors and partners for LAN/WANnetwork architectural design changes within BD global design standards as it relates to manufacturing connectivity.  This position can be virtual but must located within a reasonable driving distance of a BD manufacturing site. Manufacturing site locations are; Sandy, UT, Baltimore (Sparks), MD and three sites in Nebraska; Columbus, Broken Bow and Holdrege. Qualifications include: BS Degree in Information System, Engineering or equivalent field.  Six plus years of related experience. Industry recognized certifications a plus: Network +, CCNA, Security +, MCSE. Experience in deploying local area networkarchitectureinfrastructure and hardware. Support and configuration experience with the following network devices/tools preferred: Cisco IOS, Allen-Bradley Stratix, Zebra/Datamax, DH+ network, Firewall Rulesets, DMZ. Work closely with engineering, QA, facilities and other functional areas to support their IT-based applications and projects.  Monitor all assigned systems, ensuring appropriate vendor/partner maintenance, roadmap, refresh, and system repairs are completed promptly.  Document all issues and associated resolutions. Understanding of cabling management systems and industry / BD recognized standards including, Systimax COM scope, Cat 6 cabling single and multi-mode fiber. Experience in a regulated environment with a strong understanding of computerized systems regulations and Good Automated Manufacturing Process. Job ID R-321251

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
